    Physician Bio

Dr. Vijaya Dudyala is a primary care provider, board certified in Internal
Medicine, who has been practicing medicine in the bay area since 2008.
Born and raised in India, she earned her medical degree at Osmania Medical
College, the best medical school in her state in India, and came to the
United States where she completed her internship and residency at St.
Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, NY. Dr. Dudyala served as a hospitalist at
Washington Hospital and other hospitals in the region before deciding
to open her private practice in 2014.

What Dr. Dudyala enjoys most about the practice of primary care are the
relationships with her patients and being able to make a positive difference
in their lives. During her time as a hospitalist, Dr. Dudyala cared for
critically ill patients, which gave her an understanding of the complex
issues facing patients with chronic illnesses. In her primary care practice,
she focuses on preventative care measures to keep her patients healthy
    and out of the hospital.

“I believe my varied and diverse professional background and my work
experience is invaluable for my current work as a Primary Care Provider.
I have learned after practicing in many places (India, the East Coast,
and the West Coast) that a physician’s job is much more than just
treating illnesses and diseases. Rather, it needs compassion and empathy
to go with the medical knowledge. I believe in taking the time to listen
to my patient’s medical complaints carefully and attentively and
am very committed to my patients’ health and well-being, taking
the time to explain to the patients, about the complex problems in simple
words. I do take time to discuss with consultants and research complex
issues. I will go the extra yard to discuss with tertiary care centers
and university hospitals to provide excellent care for my patients. I
believe that a strong partnership between patient and physician leads
to the best outcome. I look forward to working with you and your families
to build a healthy and happy community.”
