Coyness Ennix, Jr., M.D.

Dr. Ennix graduated from Meharry medical College in Nashville, Tennessee where he was born. He completed his Residency in Cardiac and Thoracic surgery at The Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland Ohio under the tutelage of Delos M. Cosgrove, M.D. and Floyd D. Loop, M.D. He then completed a post-doctorate Fellowship in cardiovascular surgery at The Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas and later was on the faculty at Baylor for five years before moving to California and settling in the Bay Area.

Dr. Ennix is Board Certified in Cardiac and Thoracic surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a Founder of The Bay Area Society of Thoracic Surgeons. He has been in private practice in the Bay Area since 1981 and is on staff at Washington Hospital.
