Jakleen Labbad, M.D.

Dr. Labbad has a rich and diverse academic background. She studied Economics and Women's Studies at Oberlin College. She then pursued her passion for social justice through medicine and attended the Medical College of Ohio.

Dr. Labbad began her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology. After completing one year of training, she then realized that her view of a holistic approach of caring for people was a better fit for Family Medicine.

Dr. Labbad trained in Family Medicine at Case Western Reserve University. CWRU is consistently rated in the top 5 Family Medicine Departments in the U.S. After this rigorous academic training Dr. Labbad moved to the Bay Area to start her practice.

Dr. Labbad is interested in caring for the complete person within the context of their familial, social, cultural and economic life. She excels at and enjoys the full range of family medicine: geriatrics, pediatrics, maternal/child health, office procedures, musculoskeletal medicine, gynecology, Inpatient Medicine, mental health, and preventative medicine. Dr. Labbad also has a special interest and skill set in women's health/reproductive medicine.

Dr. Labbad is originally from Syria and moved to Ohio with her family at age 11. She is fluent in Arabic.
