Kate Wong, PA-C

Kate D. Wong was raised in Oakland, California and attended the University of California, Davis. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development, and pursued successful careers as an Optometric Technician and later as a Healthcare Recruiting Manager. She was inspired by her ailing father to pursue a career in medicine to help others and to make a difference. It was her goal to become an advocate for patients in need. She obtained her Master of Physician Assistant degree at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland. During her intense medical training, she completed multiple surgical rotations, including General Surgery at UCSF, Plastic Surgery at Mills Peninsula Hospital, and Liver Transplant at California Pacific Medical Center.

Kate is Board Certified by the NCCPA, and a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the California Academy of Physician Assistants.

Kate currently resides in San Francisco. She enjoys traveling, uncovering good eateries, and staying active by running and hiking. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, including 4 nephews and a niece. She is conversational in Cantonese.
