Diagnostic Testing & Evaluation
Diagnostic procedures include diagnostic audiogram, tympanometry, Visual Reinforcement Audiometry
(VRA), Behavioral Observation Audiometry (BOA) and Otoacoustic Emissions
Dizziness evaluation, or vestibular and balance function evaluation, consists of a variety
of tests performed to examine and diagnose the vestibular portion of the
inner ear, which is responsible for balance. These tests can help determine
the cause of dizziness, and then allow your doctor to develop the most
appropriate treatment plan. Some vestibular tests include electronystagmogram
(ENG) and videonystagmography (VNG).
Image Guided Surgical Navigation
Image-guided surgical navigation systems are essentially like GPS (global positioning satellite) systems
for the anatomy of your head. These systems are used to aid the surgeon
in the confirming the location of critical structures when the interior
of the nose and sinuses is distorted by unusual anatomy or prior surgery.
