Influenza

Washington Township Medical Foundation Protects Your Health Year Round

Many people do not realize how dangerous the seasonal flu can be. Getting your annual flu shot is important. Influenza or “the flu” is a contagious respiratory sickness. This illness is caused by viruses that infect the lungs, throat, and nose. While most cases of the flu are relatively mild, some are dangerous and can even be life-threatening. Ask your internist at Washington Township Medical Foundation about getting this year’s flu shot.
