State-of-the-art facilities and technology
BrainSuite®
Our surgeons now have at their disposal a technology called BrainSuite,
a high-tech imaging system that allows for incredibly precise navigation
of the brain and spinal system. One of a few such facilities in California,
our BrainSuite is a completely integrated operating room for neurosurgery,
bringing together neuronavigation, visualization, patient positioning
and image processing. This allows us to minimize the opening made during
surgery and confirm the treatment performed, and with the highest degree
of accuracy.
Intraoperative Imaging
Our specialists have access to the Bodytom® (Replace with interoperative
3D Navigational system) and Ceretom® systems, allowing for real-time,
total spine and brain imaging during surgery. This allows for more precise
placement of instrumentation, improving outcomes and expanding the range
of minimally invasive procedures that can be performed.
Biplane System
The Artis zee biplane system represents a major advancement in interventional
radiology by offering our surgeons flexibility for neurological and spine,
as well as pediatric imaging. The Artis zee biplane has advanced 3-D imaging
that allows for easy patient access with full-body coverage.
Stereotactic Radiosurgery
Considered the gold standard for radiosurgery and noninvasive treatment
of neurological disease, our doctors use Gamma Knife® Perfexion™
to precisely treat metastatic tumors, benign tumors, trigeminal neuralgia,
Parkinson’s and more. offering unlimited cranial reach, it can treat
multiple areas in the brain quickly and accurately, without the negative
side effects associated with whole brain radiation therapy.
