“Guardian angels are often disguised as doctors and nurses.”
Those words were in a note we recently received from Sean Dempsey of Napa,
Calif. Sean is celebrating the decade since his lifesaving surgery led by
Jeffrey Thomas, MD, one of America’s top neurosurgeons. Thomas now serves as medical
director of Cerebrovascular and Neurointerventional Neurosurgery at Washington
Hospital and the Washington Township Medical Foundation. He is a specialist
at performing delicate, marathon microsurgeries to fix seizure-inducing
brain malformations, just like Sean faced. “Thank you, Dr. Thomas,
for being as skilled as you are,” says Sean today, “and for
making me healthy again.”
