Jelriza Mansouri, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.
“The most satisfying part of my job is when I feel like I’ve
been able to solve a patient’s problem. Knowing that we’re
creating a path to better health makes everything we do worthwhile.”
Jelriza Mansouri, MD, a highly respected obstetrician and gynecologist,
is discussing her work at Washington Women’s Health Specialists.
She joined the practice in 2017 after serving as an OB/GYN at Contra Costa
Regional Medical Center in Martinez, California. Dr. Mansouri received
her medical degree from Albany Medical School in Albany, New York, after
completing a postbaccalaureate pre-med program at San Jose State University.
In addition, following an internship and residency at UC Davis Medical
Center, Dr. Mansouri was a member of the United States Air Force at Scott
AFB Women’s Health Clinic in Belleville, Illinois, where she served
for four years.
“I truly enjoy my work at Washington Women’s Health Specialists,”
said Dr. Mansouri, a mom of two girls who lives in the East Bay area of
Northern California. “Fremont and the surrounding communities are
very vibrant, and the diversity of the populace plays an important role
in the care we provide.”
Dr. Mansouri is board certified by the
American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is a fellow of the
American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is interested in all aspects of OB/GYN care, especially endocrinologic
hormone problems, such as polycystic ovary syndrome and infertility. Away
from work, she likes to exercise, hike, garden, and spend time with her family.
“We have a great practice with a very talented team of physicians,”
Dr. Mansouri said. “Each of us is well-versed in the latest treatments
and therapies for every stage of life, and we look forward to partnering
with patients on the path to optimum health.”
