Aileen Araj, FNP, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner recognized
by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Having grown up in the
Bay Area, she is excited to provide care to the patients in her community.
She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of San
Francisco and received her Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate from
Holy Names University in Oakland.
Coming from a family of medical providers, Aileen is deeply rooted in the
medical community. She has been caring for patients at Washington Hospital
Healthcare System for five years as a Registered Nurse and most recently
as a Nurse Practitioner. Aileen’s passion for preventative medicine
has inspired her to care for women and keep them healthy across the lifespan.
“I am very excited to join the team at Washington Women's Health
Specialists,” said Aileen, a busy mom who likes to cook, ride her
bike and travel. “I’m lucky to have such rewarding work.”
That work takes her on a personal and meaningful journey with her patients.
“It’s very gratifying to help women overcome obstacles and
help them stay healthy,” said Aileen, “and I’m happy
to be a part of such a dynamic group of providers.”
