About Blake Spurlock

Blake Spurlock, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant with a diverse background in patient-centered care across a variety of clinical settings. He provides comprehensive care with a focus on communication, collaboration, and patient education, and is dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality care to every patient he serves.

Blake’s clinical training includes rotations in neurosurgery, surgery, internal medicine, pediatrics, family medicine, behavioral health, and women’s health. This diverse experience allows him to treat a wide range of conditions and provide care across different stages of life. His bilingual abilities in English and Spanish further enhance his ability to connect with and support a diverse patient population.

Prior to joining Washington Health Medical Group in 2025, Blake worked as a medical assistant and scribe with Carepoint Neurosurgery in Denver, CO, as well as a strength coach, gaining extensive experience in direct patient care, clinical documentation, and rehabilitation support. His approach emphasizes critical thinking, continuous learning, and teamwork to ensure the best outcomes for patients.

Blake earned his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Elon University in North Carolina and his Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Communication from Metropolitan State University of Denver, graduating magna cum laude.

Outside of work, Blake enjoys fitness, rehabilitation training, maintaining an active lifestyle, and has been playing guitar for 28 years. He also enjoys writing and recording music.
