Patient Story

Sean Campbell’s job required him to sit long hours at a computer. This resulted in his legs becoming red, scaly, swollen and painful. Inactivity caused by sheltering in place due to COVID-19 made things worse, and relief was elusive. Sean thanks vascular surgeon Sarah Wartman, MD, for his care plan––which included a vascular surgery to remove faulty veins that impede his circulation and contribute to swelling. “I have never been to a doctor’s office where I have been treated so well,” he said.
