Physician Bio
Dr. Sarah Wartman is board certified in General and Vascular Surgery, and
a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. With bi-coastal roots, Dr.
Wartman grew up in Philadelphia and later moved to California. On a trajectory
into the health care field from an early age, she earned her medical degree
at the George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington,
DC, and then returned to California to complete her general surgical residency,
a vascular research fellowship, and a vascular surgery fellowship at the
University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
With training in both General and Vascular surgery, she specializes in
Vascular Surgery. She performs a wide range of both open and endovascular
arterial and venous procedures, including aortic and peripheral arterial
surgery, as well as venous interventions and dialysis access. She has
a particular interest in peripheral vascular disease and limb salvage.
Services are provided in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. She
also has specialized training in vascular ultrasound with certification
as a registered physician in vascular interpretation (RPVI).
